Tracing the history of China for thousand years, after countless dynastic changes, there is always a pair of majestic stone lions in front of the royal buildings and official palaces. In every New Year's holiday, a folk performance of the lion dancing come to the people, walking through the streets and alleys to play and compete for hydrangeas. In most Chinese people’s minds, the lion is a symbol of majesty, dignity, power, strength and auspiciousness. It is also from this perspective that when the VIP Hotel Beijing adjacent to the Forbidden City was built, the brilliant line-engraved lion designed by Hong Kong design master Mr. Chen Youjian was selected as the Logo of the Hotel, with a refined and simple auspicious cloud pattern, showing the majesty and dignified momentum of the lion. In addition, the seal form used in its design also shows the characteristics of ancient Chinese culture.
